CSL Behring Receives the “Living Intercultural Diversity” Award Again

On October 9, 2024, the ceremonial presentation took place in the historic town hall of Marburg. Tanja Templer and Christin Behlert, responsible for HR and Early Career Development at CSL Behring, accepted the honor from City Councillor Kirsten Dinnebier and District Councillor Marian Zachow. This recognition underscores the importance CSL Behring places on promoting a diverse and inclusive corporate culture. 

Diversity as a Lived Practice 

At CSL Behring in Marburg, diversity is not just a buzzword but a lived reality. The company creates a global work environment where employees can achieve their professional goals, realize their potential, and actively participate in a value-oriented culture. This culture of integration is reflected in numerous initiatives, such as the RE-Start Plus program that enables refugees together with people who need pre-development to start an apprenticeship, diversity-oriented training, and intercultural project teams. 

Commitment to the Region 

CSL Behring is also actively committed to diversity in the Marburg-Biedenkopf region. The company organizes cultural and sporting events that promote international exchange and supports targeted donations and sports sponsorships. With the award, CSL Behring aims to set an example for other companies and highlight the importance of diversity for society and the economy. 

The “Living Intercultural Diversity” Award 

The award is presented by the Magistrate of the University City of Marburg in cooperation with the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. It recognizes organizations that have launched pioneering strategies and initiatives to promote diversity. The goal of the award is to highlight the relevance of diversity for society and businesses.
