CSL Behring receives seal of approval and award for commitment to diversity.

Our goal is to create an overall working environment in which employees can realize their career aspirations, have the opportunity to develop their potential and feel inspired every day thanks to our value-oriented culture. To achieve this goal, we strive to achieve a culture of integration, in which all of our employees are equally respected and valued and can share their views, experiences and ideas. Our commitment has now been recognized by the city of Marburg with the “Interkulturelle Vielfalt LEBEN” (LIVING Intercultural Diversity) seal of quality and the award for best performance among all participating medium-sized and large businesses and companies.

We live diversity at CSL Behring in Marburg

We want CSL to be as colorful as the world we live in. To achieve this, we have launched numerous initiatives within the company, such as a program for the integration of refugees, diversity-based training sessions and project teams with interculturally experienced employees who act as contact points, “buddies” and company supervisors. As a global organization with employees in over 35 countries, CSL stands for diversity. Promoting and respecting the individual skills, experiences and views of our employees are key to our success and help us deliver on our promise to our patients.

In our Marburg-Biedenkopf region, we are also particularly committed to promoting diversity and making it visible. By organizing cultural and sporting events that focus on exchanging experiences internationally, and with our commitment through donations and sports sponsorship, we want to make an active contribution to successful integration and inclusion.

The “Interkulturelle Vielfalt LEBEN” seal of quality

This year, for the first time, the council of the university city of Marburg, in cooperation with the Marburg-Biedenkopf district, honored organizations from the region that have implemented particularly groundbreaking strategies and initiatives to foster diversity. The aim of this quality seal is to demonstrate the significance of diversity for society and business. In addition to the seal, we were also recognized with the award for best performance among participating large organizations. With this award, we are setting another clear example of a diverse organizational culture in which internationality and diversity are pillars of corporate success, and we hope that this will enable us to be a role model for other companies.
