After supplying the fire service and public utility companies in Marburg with disinfectant produced in-house back in April, CSL Behring then donated 600 liters each of hand and surface disinfectant to local sports clubs at the beginning of July.
“Many of our colleagues are enthusiastic sportsmen and sportswomen themselves, and we know how important it is for the people of the region to have unhindered access to sports. We are pleased that the sports clubs have opened their doors and that we can make an active contribution to making social interaction safer during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said CSL Behring Site Head Michael Schröder at the donation handover.
The handover took place in the Georg-Gaßmann-Stadium. The Sportkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf e.V. sports association accepted the donation on behalf of the clubs that are part of the state sports federation.
