On 1 January 2024, Dr. Niklas Schier took over as Site Head for the production site in Marburg and will also become Managing Director of CSL Behring GmbH.
With Dr. Schier, a leader with a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of quality and manufacturing processes has been recruited as the new site manager.
"CSL Behring is a successful company with a long tradition and strong regional roots," says the 50-year-old, who came to CSL Behring after studying at Marburg's Philipps University and working at Chiron, Novartis and GSK.
After joining as Head of the Marburg Quality Department at the beginning of 2020, Schier took over global responsibility for quality for CSL Behring's global production network in September 2021. Since May 2023, he has led the overarching global quality organization.
