M600 Innovation Hub: A space for life-science companies

Originally developed by CSL as part of its long-standing Marburg operations, the M600 R&D Campus is opening its doors to new tenants and evolving into an open-innovation environment for a broader life-science community.

Laboratory, technical, and office space is available now - for biotech companies, research organisations, CROs, CDMOs, and innovation-driven businesses looking to establish themselves in an operating biopharmaceutical environment.

A curated multi-tenant campus

Unlike a conventional multi-tenant building, M600 is being curated for strategic fit across its tenants. It brings together academia, start-ups, CROs/CDMOs and biopharmaceutical companies, so that scientists and industry experts work side by side within the same building and across the campus.

The full development chain, on one campus

M600 gives tenants direct access to capabilities that would otherwise require significant time and capital to build independently.

Early-stage research
Stage 1
Access to technical platforms and laboratories from day one.
IND/IMPD readiness
Stage 2
Preclinical development through to regulatory submission readiness
Pilot-scale
Stage 3
Production-scale development in the separate on-site pilot plant.
GMP scale-up
Stage 4
GMP manufacturing potential on campus, without outsourcing.

Within Europe's pandemic-preparedness cluster

Marburg has been a centre for infectious-disease research for over half a century. Around 7,200 life-science professionals work in the surrounding Pharma & Life Science Park.

Infrastructure that lets you focus on the science

The laboratory area covers biosafety levels BSL-1 to BSL-3, with a separate pilot plant supporting clinical-scale research. Full on-site facility management - including pharma-specific services, site security, and environmental management - is in place, so incoming organisations can focus on science immediately.

For tenants, this means access not only to infrastructure, but to an established network of peers, suppliers, and potential collaborators - the environment in which early-stage research can scale faster.
